About
I'm Justin Lewis
Justin is a Tattoo, pencil and charcoal artist, based out of Orlando, FL. Being a full-time tattoo artist for 13 years, making mistakes was forbidden. Not only are they permanent if made, but the client would have to live with them. With this in mind, he’s dedicated his life to creating art that would last a lifetime and have a great impression and close connection to the individuals wearing it.
Being a college dropout at the age of 19, Justin made the final decision to focus solely on his love for art. He’s experimented with many styles of artwork and techniques with different mediums before and during his tattoo career with mediums such as charcoal, graphite pencils, color pencils, airbrushing, and acrylic paint. Through this approach, he’s learned about his own preferences and strengths as an artist.
Drawing portraits was his release growing up, bringing him peace and self-confidence of transforming unwanted energy into art. His source of inspiration comes from his own research in history on culture and background, tied with personal experiences, relatability, and emotions felt through the process. He’s been able to develop an original style of artwork that reflects his unique approach and individual artistic expression.
After 10 years of tattooing, he stumbled across a problem. Looking for spiritual warriors, ancient gods and goddesses that matched the genetic makeup of who they were was hard to find. This inspired him to create art based around the very idea he was researching.
He found that not only did he connect with his artwork more, but it also connected to individuals around him. His clients started requesting more and giving him full creative freedom. This is the point he realized the importance of his mission as an artist in today’s society and in history. A spiritual warrior is a person who practices spiritual discipline and takes up the “warfare” against the negative elements within themselves to attain inner peace and enlightenment.
